We all know that English is an important language, it is the language of science, aviation, computers, diplomacy, tourism and many more industries. Hence, we Asian parents are concerned about our children's struggle in English. Especially in non-English speaking family, which the main language in my family is still mandarin.

Sadly, our local education system doesn't really encourage English. My daughter has to speak only Mandarin in the Chinese primary school hence her English level has dropped significantly over the past few years.

Knowing that English is the language of International communication, the media and the Internet, so learning English is important for socializing and work. I have planned to enroll my children into English Language Centre for them to master English language better.
I have recently came to KLC Language Centre at Bandar Puteri Puchong. Originated from Johor, KLC Language Centre has developed a proven method that enables the children to use English like a PRO. In addition, there will be 16 second prizes of a Samsung Note 9 each, and 30 third prizes of Guardian vouchers of RM300 each! In total, more than RM200,000 worth of prizes are up for grabs.

Customers only need to spend a minimum of RM40, including one participating brand, in a single receipt to participate. Once they have made the purchase, they have to “count” the number of Guardian Jeju Masks inside the I Guardian Heart acrylic mould, measuring 780mm (w) by 600mm (h) and 270 mm (d). Each Jeju Mask measures 11.4 cm by 15.9 cm.
After they have decided on the number of the Guardian Jeju Masks, they put it in writing and submit their entry. The contest runs from 1 November to 31 December 2018. Entries can be submitted via physical forms or via online, by 31 December 2018.
A total of 38 brands are participating in the contest, including five main sponsor brands, Dove, L’Oreal, Maybelline, Pantene and Safi.

It was a memorable night for me on 27th Oct 2018. It was my first time witnessed a night marathon at Putrajaya Night Marathon 2018 held at Dataran Putrajaya, Precint 3.

Once I arrived Dataran Putrajaya, I saw a lot of participants turned up that night to participate the Full Marathon, half Marathon, 10km and 5KM RBC Race for The Kids (Family & Friends) categories. They all looked so energetic and excited to join the run.

Superbrands, the independent global authority and arbiter of branding, hosted their annual event in Hotel Istana Kuala Lumpur for the key global multi national corporations (MNCs) and top local brands encompassing a wide spectrum of different industries.

Sometimes it only takes one good song to bring back thousands of good, old memories. As a music lover, I like listen to songs everyday while driving, doing house chores and working.
I was happy to be invited to the new Moonstruck album launch on the lovely Sunday on 11 Nov 2018. Norrela Iznin Abd Ghani, the author of “Memancing Hati Anak Remaja” is a professional trainer and certified hypnotherapist has a Degree in Applied Biology, and she is also married with 3 boys. This year, Norrela has decided to combine her writing and signing skills for her Moonstruck album that will put you in romantic and sentimental mood. The story began when she got tired of singing other people's songs in the karaoke. She decided to begin writing lyrics based on her personal experiences locally and abroad, be it happy, sad or even angry. Norrela had to relive those experiences again to finding words in describing her feelings.
During the launch event of Moonstruck album, we have watched the video from the producer of the album. Andy Court, an award winning producer in Australia has congratulate Norrela on her wonderful Moonstruck music album. In fact, Andy has won more than 30 awards nationally in Australia and Internationally, he had then added on melody on to Norrela's lyrics with full accompaniment.
The renowned producer has then interpreted her lyrics by producing beautiful songs and it was indeed World class recording. All the 10 songs were completed and the recording was done in Australia.

Thus, Moonstruck was produced with the main track of “I'm Moonstruck”.

Women Can Plan Their Motherhood Years in Advance

Women in Malaysia are having children later in life. The Department of Statistics (DOSM) found that from 2001 to 2015, the mean age of first-time mothers increased from 26.6 years old to 27.7 years old.1 This means that on average, women in Malaysia are becoming parents at later ages.

This could be due to any number of reasons. Whatever the factors behind it, according to Dr. Eeson Sinthamoney, President of the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Society Malaysia (OGSM), it is important for women who would like to have children to start planning for the future now and gain an understanding of their bodies. There are many options available now to help them make plans to have children later in life, such as AMH testing and egg freezing. 
According to Dr. Eeson, 10% of women in their early 30’s have significantly reduced fertility. While this rate of decline varies from person to person, numerous studies have established that in the 30’s age group, a woman’s ovarian reserve begins to decline.2‘Ovarian reserve’ refers to the number of eggs a woman has in her body to be fertilised, and it is also known as ‘egg count’. Each woman is born with a total of about 2 million eggs, which are all of the eggs she will have in her lifetime. After a spike during puberty, this number begins to decline throughout her life.
‘Women who want to know how fertile they are may take an Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) test,’ said Dr. Eeson. ‘This will give them an indication on their remaining fertile years, and help give their doctor an idea of whether it will be easy for them to conceive, in the present or in the future.’

An AMH test is a simple blood test that can indicate a woman’s fertility. Blood levels of the Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) are used as a marker of a woman’s ovarian reserves (remaining supply of eggs available for fertilisation). This is an important consideration for women who are either planning for pregnancy or struggling with infertility.3
Speaking at an event on female fertility awareness on 13th November, Dr. Eeson indicated one option for young women who wish to plan for future motherhood. ‘If you have concerns about conceiving in a few years, there is the option of freezing your eggs. Women lose a certain number of eggs each month. For example, if becoming a mother in future is very important to you, and your AMH test shows that your egg count is in the low range, you may consider preserving your eggs so that you can still have the option of fertilising them later.’

Currently, around 50 million couples worldwide are affected by infertility4, and around 15 percent of women of reproductive age face fertility issues. Prior to the introduction of AMH testing, the most conventional female fertility test involved an invasive trans-vaginal ultrasound procedure. The AMH test is far more convenient by comparison, cutting out both discomfort, waiting time and confusion, as women can request a test from their physician at any time5.

Ultimately, what young women should know is that there are many ways of planning for the future in terms of their education, their career, and even their family life. An AMH test can function as the basis for their plans surrounding future parenthood, as it helps them understand their current fertility level, what it means for the coming years, and whether they will need to consider any other options to help them become pregnant later in life. The most important thing to remember, according to Dr. Eeson, is to understand your body now.
